Atlanta-North Georgia Labor Council will join the Georgia AFL-CIO's 2019 State-wide observance of  Workers Memorial Day This is the day of remembrance of those who have suffered and died on the job and to renew our efforts in assuring safe workplaces.

This year the struggle continues to create good jobs that are safe, pay fair wages and ensure the freedom of workers to form unions so they can speak out and bargain for respect and a better future.

WHAT:  Statewide Workers Memorial Day Observance

WHEN: April 28, 2019

TIME: Bus Leaves IBEW (501 Pulliam St. SW, Atlanta) at 11:45 a.m.

Return to Atlanta between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fallen Worker's Monument at Arrowhead Pavilion
